Indian Railways announced that 'IZZAT MONTHLY SEASON TICKET' scheme travel distance limit going to increase from 100 Kms to 150 Kms as per last rail budget. This change will affect from June 1st 2012.
The Indian Railways also announced that , the increase in travel distance will be admissible on tickets purchased on and after 1st June, 2012. In case of tickets issued before 1st June 2012, the increase in travel distance will not be admissible.
Railways introduced the ' IZZAT MONTHLY SEASON TICKET ' on August 2009 and cost for this is only Rs. 25 Only. This is issued to passengers whose monthly income not exceeding Rs.1500.
